1 cup maple syrup
6 eggs
1 cup flour
(1 tsp. vanilla-optional)
Separate the eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not
dry. Beat egg yolks with the syrup and vanilla. Fold yolk mixture into
whites, then gradually add the flour one tablespoon at a time. Pour
the mixture into a lightly-greased tube pan and back for an hour at
325 degrees.
